Max giving Adam a ride in the cart.
Fun in the leaves.
Waving at an airplane.
Max loved collecting sticks.
Daddy working on Jacob's school project.
Watching Bob the Builder.
Jack being silly.
I got up at 6am to exercise. The boys were up shortly after 8am. Right away Jacob was asking when Max and Jack were coming over. He also asked me to call Aunt Missy to see if they could come this morning. The boys played together with Bruder vehicles and some Little people. Mel and her family got here around 10:30. She is sick so I’m watching her boys while she gets some needed rest. The kids were very excited to see each other. After Mel and Bruce left Max kept telling me many, many things that his Mommy says. Jacob and Adam enjoyed entertaining Jack. Jack loves pushing around the shopping cart. Around 12:00 we left to take Jacob to school. The boys were excited to ride in the van together. Jacob took Max in his classroom and introduced him and Jack to Miss Tiff. We got home and ate lunch. After tucking Jack in for a nap we watched a Clifford video. We then went outside until it was time to leave for school. Max and Adam had fun riding the ride on vehicles on the back deck. Max gave Adam rides in the tractor cart. We also played in the leaves and fort. Lowe’s came to Jacob’s school today to do a project with the kids. Jacob refuses to wear an apron so didn’t do the project with the class. He sure was excited to show it to me and could hardly wait to put it together with Daddy. I tucked Adam in for a nap but he never did go to sleep. Max rested for a short time. The boys enjoyed watching Daddy put together the Lowe’s fire truck while I prepared dinner. Our dinner took longer than expected so we fixed the boys something else to eat. Jacob and Adam both wanted to sit right by Jack at the table. After dinner we got the boys into their pjs. They helped clean up all the toys and then we watched Bob the Builder. The boys all looked so cute sitting on the couch in their pj’s. Jack was being so silly. Jared had class this evening. I tucked Jack in bed at 7:30. After Bob the Builder was over we read books and then I tucked Max and Adam in bed. Adam was very excited to have Jack sleeping in his bedroom. I let Jacob stay up 30 min longer than the others and he was pretty happy about that. We drew each other dot to dot pictures and then connected them. Jacob wiggled with excited in his bed because Max is sleeping in there.

Adam started yelling, “I awake” at 8:00. He went right into Jacob's room to check on him but Jacob continued sleeping until around 8:30. We watched the truck video during breakfast. Most of the morning was spent playing with legos. Adam also had fun with the automoblox. We picked up the legos and then got out some playdoh. The boys played with that until it was time to leave for school. Jacob gave me a hug and kiss before happily walking into his classroom. But soon I heard him cry and call for me. Today there was a substitute for Miss Tiff (teaching assistant) and Miss Laura (his teacher) was waiting outside to help the kids off the bus and into class. We stayed with Jacob until his teacher came back. Jacob showed me some things he'd made in the classroom and also showed me the calender. He was happy to see Miss Laura and helped her carry some things back into the classroom. Back at home Adam and I played outside. First we took a walk down our road. Adam pushed the wheelbarrel the whole time, stopping to put rocks in it on the way. Then he wanted to play school, which to him includes packing my lunch, driving me to school, and picking me up. We played in the fort and then the sandbox. Adam loaded his ride on truck with apples and I pushed him over so we could feed them to the rooster and horses. Adam caught several chickens. Some of them just lay down when you walk near them so they are very easy to catch. I cleaned up some things in the yard and also the back deck area. At 3:15 we headed back to school. Right away Jacob said, "We had a firedrill! We got on coat, lined up, and went outside. Red lights were flashing back and forth. There were no firetruck cause them was just practicing.” We were home around 4:00. We read some books and I tucked Adam in for a nap. Jacob and I played with automoblox for a little while. Then we went outside and took care of the animals. Jared was home shortly after 5:00. He did some Wii Fit exercises. We woke Adam just before dinner. He was tired and didn’t want to eat but sat on the floor and cried during the entire meal. He wasn't ready to eat until around 7pm. I rocked him and he enjoyed watching Daddy do some Wii Fit games. We played with the legos this evening. Then we played with the puppets. Daddy and each of the boys put on a show and then the boys put on a show for us. The boys were tucked in bed by 9:00. Jared had to make up another missed class this evening.

"Sleeping" in their house.
The boys woke up around 7:30. They played in the bedroom while I finished my last exercise. We watched the truck video during breakfast. Then I worked on folding and putting away laundry while the boys played with legos. They sat at the table to draw and also cut and glue. Shortly after 12:00 we headed to Jacob’s school. Jacob smiled when the teachers commented on his new haircut. It was a beautiful day, mid 60 degrees. Adam ate a packed lunch on the drive home. He and I played outside for over an hour. We played in the sandbox and then took a walk down the road. Adam wanted to walk in front of me saying, “I’m the leader, ok.” He told me to walk in the grass in case a car comes. He also collected some rocks, giving me two (one for me and the other for Jacob.) Inside Adam played with the legos. I did the dishes and then prepared a roast, carrots, and potatoes for dinner. Adam liked helping me peel the carrots and handing me potatoes. Jacob told me about his day at school on the drive home. We stayed outside for a little while before going in to tuck Adam in for a nap. Adam fell asleep very quickly. Then Jacob and I went back outside and took care of the animals. The goat/sheep have been drinking their water buckets down so fast that we thought there was a leak in their buckets. Well, today I caught Nutmeg leaning over their fence to drink down the buckets I’d just filled. Jared got home around 5pm. He fixed the fencing in Nutmeg’s paddock. We woke Adam up just before dinnertime. After dinner Jared played Mario Kart and then the Wii Fit. The boys love watching him play. They also played with the tools and legos. We tucked them in bed around 9pm. Jared is now taking a class to make up for one of his missed days last week.

Jacob's solution to not being able to keep his eye's open for the picture.
I got up at 6:00 to exercise. The boys were up just before 8:00 and they woke Daddy up. After church we stopped at meijer for some groceries. We made a pizza for lunch. After lunch the boys played with legos and automoblox. I felt very tired and took a nap on the couch. Adam and Jacob cuddled with me some. At 2:30 I read some books with Adam and then tucked him in for a nap. Then I did my afternoon run. Jared and Jacob played with legos while watching football. Then Jacob sat at the table to draw with markers. Jared and I started a game of Tonk. Mom, Vikki, and Kenzie came over and we had fun playing Tonk. Jacob continued drawing and also played a game on Vikki’s phone. Adam woke up around 5:30. Mom, Kenzie, and Vikki headed home just before dinnertime. The rest of the evening was spent playing with legos and automoblox. The boys were tucked in bed around 9pm.

Jacob got a haircut.
Kenzie putting on a puppet show.
This morning we hurried to make it to the cemetery for Grandpa's burial. Mom met us there around 9:00. She was waiting in her car and somehow got locked inside of it. While she was trying to figure out how to get out (pushing all sorts of button) she set off the car alarm. As we were about to leave Aunt Brenda, Matt, and Brian came. Mom couldn't get the car to unlock now. Matt (my cousin) pushed some button and finally did get it to unlock. On the way home we stopped for drinks and donuts. We also went to Salvation army. It was a beautiful day, sunny and 60's. Jared worked on digging a hole for Lockjaw (the goat). The boys liked going in the hole after it was dug. They also enjoyed playing on the big pile of dirt. The boys used their shovels and helped us fill the hole back in. Jared tilled the garden. I took the boys in for lunch and then we came back outside for awhile. While Adam was napping I gave Jacob a haircut. This evening we went to Mom's house. She made a pizza for dinner. The boys watched Baby Einstein and played with blocks and cars. Kenzie put on a puppet show that they really enjoyed. Then the boys also put on some puppet shows too. Vikki, Kenzie, and Rody were there also. We all played several games of Tonk. It was around 11:00 when we got home and we tucked the sleeping boys in bed.
