Jacob doing "the wave" at VBS
The boys had waffles for breakfast this morning. They wanted to watch Toy Story 2 while laying in their new sleeping bags so we put that in to watch. Jacob made Eli a comfy bed in the living room using his blankets and pillow. Then he surrounded him with his stuffed animals and covered him with a blanket. He said to me, “If you need to feed Eli, you can. And when your done you can bring him back here, ok?” Jared took the van in to get a hitch put on it. We don’t plan on taking our trailer to Copper Harbor but that's done if we do need to. Jared got home around 3:30 and we went outside for a while. Jared worked on mowing the lawn. Jacob and Adam played in the barn and then in the sandbox. Eli slept in the carrier. After dinner Jared took Jacob and Nik to VBS. Then we enjoyed some time relaxing on the back deck. Adam played in the pool. I trimmed Abby’s (Mel’s dog) hair. Well, I just cut it shorter before giving her a bath (then I'll trim her better). Adam liked helping me give her a bath. He laughed at her all wet and said, “She looks like a man.” Adam came with me to pick up the boys from VBS. On the drive home Nik mentioned that his Grandpa makes the best waffles. Then Jacob quickly said, "My Grandma makes the very, very, BEST pancakes!" Then Nik tried to say that Big Boy makes the best pancakes. Jared finished mowing the lawn while we were gone.

It's the very, very BEST pancakes that wins. Funny, funny. Adam in the little tub is the best. What a funny, funny picture. I've got to get serious about camping. Seems that the rest of both family are doing that. Taking it easy and slowly getting better.
Eli with his eyes closed...That might be a first. I think he could be Adam in that picture.
I loved the one of Adam in the little tub too. So funny. Jacob looks happy at VBS. Glad he liked it so much and how nice that he took his friend with him.
