Watching Daddy exercise on the Wii.

Eli was hugging his washcloth just like he does his blankey.

The boys woke up to the alarm at 7am. Truman puked a sock this morning. He also took off while I was getting the boys in the van for school. I searched for him and found him in our neighbors yard across the road from us. After feeding Eli his breakfast Adam picked out the airplane video to watch. Then I read some books with the boys. Around 10:00 I tucked Eli in for a nap. Adam and I went outside and played house. He loves playing “house” and asks to play it often. We came inside around 11:30. Adam played Webkinz while I did a 30 min run. Eli woke up soon after lunchtime. He was cuddly and I rocked him. Adam climbed up on my lap too. He talked sweetly to Eli and said, “Does you like me Eli, Does you?” Jacob was excited that we brought his bike to the end of our road today. He raced home on it. Adam loves counting things and is getting very good at it. Jacob and Adam did some drawings at the counter. Jacob showed me how to do “rainbow coloring.” He writes with pencil and then chooses three crayons to trace over what he wrote. Eli napped until around 5:00. After dinner we went outside. The boys wanted me to play "house/school" so we did that. Jared worked on his compost pile. We took a walk down the road.

Jacob woke up again to the alarm this morning but Adam slept through it. After feeding Eli his breakfast this morning we watched a Psalty the songbook video. I tucked Eli in for a nap around 9:30 and he slept until 12:30. I did some exercises on the Wii. Then Adam picked some balance games for me to do. We got out the moon sand to play with. Nana came over around 11:30 and we cut up apples. We worked on that for a couple hours. Eli is eating carrots pureed from our garden and he really likes them. He also likes the pureed apples. Nana headed home just before 2:00. Adam rode his bike down to the end of the road where we waited for Jacob’s bus. Nik, his sister, and Mom also walked today so Jacob was happy to get to walk with them part of the way. The boys did some drawing and then painting at the counter. Eli took a short afternoon nap. Jacob got out the legos to play with. When Jared got home from work he did some exercises on the Wii. Eli cuddled on my lap. Adam also cuddled with us some. After dinner we went outside. We took a walk down our road and the boys rode their bikes. It was pj time when we got home.

The boys woke up to an alarm this morning. Jacob was excited about it and quickly got out of bed to shut it off. While Eli ate his breakfast Adam played Webkinz on the computer. Then we watched an Airplane video. Around 9:30 I tucked Eli in for a nap. While I worked on my coupons Adam cut up some of my expired coupons. Adam made up a card game that we played together. He kept telling me how to play and asking, “Is that a good game?” Then we played "house" until lunchtime. Eli woke up around 12:30. I cut up apples to puree and freeze. Eli was playing in his exersaucer and Adam said, “Eli’s talking. I think he’s saying, I wanna lay down with Adam.” After getting Jacob off the bus I did my afternoon run. While I was filing my coupons Jacob stapled a small “pocket” and made coupons to go in it. On his coupons he drew things liked, scissors, milk, and cheerios. This evening Jacob wanted to play school and do a fire drill. Jacob pretended to be the teacher. We went outside and the boys raced Truman to get the Frisbee.

Eli blowing

Driving to the store.

Jacob opening the presents he'd wrapped.

"How big is Eli?"

"Soooo Big!"

Watching Toy Story

Jared had to go into work to this morning. He stopped to get me a Tim Horton's cappuccino on his way home. After church I tucked Eli in for a nap. The boys and I went outside to play. They wanted me to pretend to be a little girl and they were the Daddy's. We sat in the trailer and Jacob drove us to the store. They also had fun finding rocks to put in their tackle box. Jared went into town to return something to Best Buy and then picked up grout repair from Home Depot. We made pizza for lunch. Eli loves making sounds by blowing through his lips and its so funny. Though he sure can make a mess if there is food in his mouth. Jared stapled and cut my coupons. Eli sat by Daddy and played with some toys. Jacob helped me repair some grout in the kitchen. Then he did my hair by putting some pony tails in it. Around 3:00 Eli was getting sleepy so I tucked him in for a nap. Jared, the boys, and I went outside for awhile. Eli woke up around 4:30. I did my afternoon run. The boys used newspaper to wrap lots of presents (mostly books). Then they jumped on our bed saying they needed to get some exercise. Jacob took off his socks and as he was getting the fuzz out from between his toes he said, "There's spider webs between my toes." This evening we watched Toy Story and had popcorn, pop, and ice cream.

Eli loves blowing through his lips.

Watching Bob the builder in their house.

I got up this morning to exercise. Jacob woke up around 8:30. He sat by me on the couch and practiced reading the three books he'd made in school. He also taught me how to say orange in Spanish. Then he showed me a picture he drew of a 5 story house and told me that he, Adam, and Eli shared a bedroom on the top floor. He said, "Cause I can take care of Eli if he cries. I can give him a pacifier or if he's hungry I can come down to your room and tell you." On the way to Sat drinks/donuts we played the slug bug game. The boys liked pointing them out for us. After walking around inside Salvation Army we took a walk around the place (which has many stores). The boys wanted to take me on an adventure like the one they went on with Daddy last time. There were all sorts of things, like porcupine sharks, that we had to walk through. We got home close to lunch time. The boys decorated some papers using glue and beads. Jacob pointed with two fingers at his eyes and then at me and said, "That means, I'm keeping my eyes on you."

Jacob showing me the ring he picked out of the prize box at school

Both boys were already awake when I walked into their bedroom this morning. Eli woke up around the same time. Adam wasn't ready for breakfast so he ate after we got back from school. After breakfast he picked out a Barney video to watch. Eli seemed to like watching it also. He also sat on the floor and emptied out a basket of toys to chew on. Around 9:30 I tucked him in for a nap. Adam and I played "house". He said, "I'll be the Daddy and you be the Mommy." Then he drove us to places like meijer, Copper Harbor, the auto shop, hot air balloons, and our house (which was my bed). At meijer he dropped me off and said he was going to the auto shop to see the crash cars. After I got my groceries he drove me over to see the crashed cars. It was sprinkling outside and windy. I got Adam's raincoat on and we went out there to play until around lunch time. Most the time outside we also played "house". After lunch I gave Adam a haircut while he watched Clifford/Curious George video clips on the computer. Eli slept until 1pm. He tried green beans and loves them. He also really likes dry rice crispies. Adam took a shower and plugged the drain so he could play in the water. Then he asked if Eli could come in with him. Eli had fun playing in the water too. Jared got home from work just as we were getting back from picking up Jacob. Jacob is learning rhyming at school and loves to give us examples of them. He checked out his first book at the school library and was excited about that. I thought it was funny because it is the same book I checked out for him at the library the other day, "Fly High, Fly Guy." We went to Jared's co-workers house and bought a dishwasher and stove from him. Jacob and Adam had fun running around with Trevor's kids who are the same age. Back in the van Jacob was begging to go back tomorrow. At home Jared put in the new dishwasher. The plug for the new stove was different so we had to go to Home Depot. It was late so we decided to go out for dinner at Fazoli's. On the way I was telling Jared what I was going to get for dinner when Jacob said, "You get what ya get and don't throw a fit." During dinner Jacob said, "I have a great memory." When I asked him about the things he remembers he said, "I remember the Copper mines. And you know what else I remember? Andrew!" We got home around 8:30.
