Around 3pm we headed over to my parents house to celebrate the New Year. We all had a nice time visiting together. The kids really had a lot of fun playing the Wii and also liked playing with the moon dough. Mom - thank-you for the pizza dinner. It was really good! Eli missed his evening nap and was overtired. He had a hard time getting to sleep. The older kids stayed awake until past midnight. We watched the ball drop and toasted in the new year with sparkling grape juice. Jacob didn't like the juice. We watched 101 dalmations. Kenzie came home with us to spend the night. Eli was up several times during the night. He sure can scream!

The roads were slick this morning so we waited until around 9:30 to head to my parents house. The boys stayed with Nana and Papa while I went grocery shopping. Hailey was there when I got back. She, Jacob, and Adam played in the basement. Nana gave Eli a really cute stuffed monkey, which he slept with during his nap. Around 3pm we headed back home. Jacob stayed at Nana’s to spend the night. Hailey and Kenzie also spent the night. Nana took the kids to Chucky Cheese and it sounds like they had a really fun time there. The blower motor on our corn burner broke and Jared had to replace the part. Adam helped me make peanut butter cookies. After dinner we played hide and seek in the dark. We had a really fun time playing that. Eli does better helping us seek because he's not quiet while hiding:) Adam wanted to watch Daddy play Mario Galaxy. Eli loves his “Jack” in the box. While I rocked him we did that over and over. I tucked him in for bed shortly after 8pm. We got lots of extra cuddles with Adam tonight. He was so funny and talking a lot. He kept telling me secrets like, “I love you”. We let him go to sleep in the chair and moved him to his bed after he was asleep.
