Yesterday we had a Christmas party with my Dad’s side of the family. The party was at my Uncle Freddy's (Dad's brother) house. We had a really nice time there. I forgot my camera but took lots of pictures with my Mom’s camera. Jacob thought it was pretty cool to lift weights in the exercise room and also tried out some of the equipment. We got home around 9pm. There was lots of snow outside when we woke up this morning and the boys were really excited about that. After church I tucked Eli in for a nap. We had pizza for lunch and then went outside to play in the snow. By then it was really windy and cold but we still had fun. Adam often walked around munching on a huge chunk of snow. The boys helped Daddy some with shoveling the driveway. Back inside and I made hot chocolate for the boys. We got Eli a build a bear for Christmas and Jacob worked on coloring the box it came in. Well, he decided to cut the box up so Adam could color some too. I guess we can tape it back together when their finished. Jacob’s been invited to a birthday party for a friend at school. He’s really looking forward to that next weekend. We went to the mall to walk around and got Jacob a new pair of winter boots. He was very, very excited about those and kept saying that they were so special. This evening we watched Toy Story 2 and had popcorn, pop, and ice cream. Eli got from the crawl position into a sitting position. He loves pushing himself backwards on the floor (especially hard floors).
