After breakfast the boys got out the duplo legos to play with. While they played I cleaned up the house and put away laundry. Around 11:00 we headed to the library to return some books. As I grabbed the books to take to the drop box I heard, "Not Mister Seahorse (from Adam)" and "Not Curious George (from Jacob)." The boys were very excited about going to Nana's house and also that they were going to be spending the night at Aunt Bippi's house. They made up songs to sing on the drive to Nana's house. Nana was watching a video from when my sisters and I were baby's. The boys and Nana built with Lincoln logs and they also played with matchbox cars. This afternoon I helped Mom organize all her many files of pictures on her computer. Jacob really liked playing with Kenzie's barbie dog that eats and poops and her tiny doll figures that you can dress up. Around 4:00 Vikki came over and soon after that Kenzie's got off the bus. Mom and Dad left to go out to dinner. I did my afternoon run. Jared came there from work. After hugs and goodbyes to the boys Jared and I headed over to my grandparents house to look at a couple things. This evening we went out to dinner at Pi's. Then we went to Best Buy to look at printers and video cameras. We bought a new printer. At home Jared and I took care of the animals and then came inside to set up our printer and try it. We got to talk to the boys who sounded like they were having tons of fun with Aunt Bippi and Kenzie. Jared and I watched some I Love Lucy before going to bed

Here is Adam singing on the drive to Nana's house. The boys were excited to be going there and also to Aunt Bippi's house.

Adam's first haircut

Adam likes to take off all his clothes.

Adam was up a few times during the night. He didn’t get out of bed but just cried as he lay there. We’d comfort him and he’d go back to sleep for a while. The boys were up around 9:00. After breakfast the boys sat at the counter to draw and cut. Jacob was highlighting his school calendar and then wanted to practice writing the days of the week. He kept telling me, “I love you Mommy.” Then he smiled and said, “I can’t stop saying I love you.” After taking Jacob to school we headed over to the barber so Adam could get a haircut. He cried at first but stopped partway thru. During the whole haircut he never let go of my hand. Afterwards the lady gave him two suckers and let him pick out a matchbox car. He picked the ladder truck and was very excited about it and the suckers. We went to meijer and then back to school. Jacob noticed Adam’s haircut right away and said, “I like it Adam.” At home I tucked Adam in for a nap. He fell asleep right away and slept until Daddy woke him up just before dinnertime. After dinner the boys played with duplo legos. This evening Jared and I changed around the furniture in our bedroom and organized a bunch of stuff. The boys were tucked in bed by 9:00. It took Adam awhile to fall asleep.

Jared here, Kimmy is distracted having contractions that are two minutes apart.... HA just joking...I know I know never cry wolf. A package arrived from Grandma today for the boys and from mom today for me. I got an awesome Racu fired bird made by Leslie from Copper Harbor for my birthday. There several colts items for the big game this Sunday. GO COLTS. And then two fantastic quilts for the boys. One for Jacob and one for Adam. Mom really out did herself this time. They're really cool. Jacob and Adam loved them. There was also a wall hanging that is hanging in the boys room already. And there were aprons for the boys with chef's hats for each. The hats fit me too so who knows maybe I'll see if they'll let me wear one during my next cooking adventure. See the pictures below. GO COLTS. and WINGS.... by the way the Red Wings are in 8th place in their conference... Stars are in 10th... first through 8th place go to the playoffs. Poor poor Uncle Rick. However due to the poor head to head matchups between the Wings and Stars I need the Wings to make a good run through the playoffs to make up for my current wager deficit. I mean it's not several Trillion dollars... but still.

The boys were up around 7:45. After breakfast Jacob and I played the memory card game. Then I worked on taping for painting with white paint in the nursery. We went to meijer for some groceries and paint. From there we headed to Jacob's school. After lunch Adam and I read some books. Then I tucked him in for a nap. He has a cold and was acting very tired. This evening, when I asked him how he was feeling, he said he was "feeling great." I worked on painting until it was time to wake Adam so we could go get Jacob. When Jared got home from work he painted the baseboards. After dinner we took down all the tape in the baby's room. The boys sure enjoy ripping off the tape. They helped hand me Daddy's stuffed animals to put back up on the shelf. The boys were tucked in bed shortly before 9:00. Jared and I watched 24.
