After church we stopped at the store for a few things before heading home. We had pizza for lunch. After lunch I tucked Eli in for a nap. Then I went outside and worked on cleaning out the van which took a few hours. Adam came outside for awhile to play. Then he and Jacob helped me wash things down in the van. They helped me scrub all the hard surfaces. I gave each of them a quarter for their help which they were pretty excited about. Norman is such a funny puppy. While I'm outside he is usually sitting on the rug and starring at the door. Jacob made lots of paper icicles to hang on the Christmas tree. First he colored paper using yellow and orange highlighters. Then he cut the paper into strips and punched a hole in the end. He then had Daddy tie thread so they could be hung. The boys were so excited about putting up the Christmas tree. We've been counting sleeps for it. They helped Daddy get the tree inside and set it up. Then, while I spread branches on the tree, the boys helped Daddy carry out all the decoration boxes and nativity sets. Jacob and Adam set up the nativity sets. We had a great time decorating while listening to Christmas music. Eli woke up from his evening nap just as we were finishing. He smiled as he looked at the tree. This evening we watched Toy Story 3 and had popcorn, pop and ice cream.

What a great afternoon. I love having some home Christmas stuff finished when back home from Ga. It is a mind calmer for me. Church decorations are going up while we are in Georgia and we will finish that job after getting back home. Wooo...LOVE IT.

I just caught up on the WHOLE week. Thanks a bunch...a big bunch. Kids get sick and then get well. That's a blessing. Norman is so cute! We'll see a huge change in Eli since seeing him in August. Wooo.

Nice icicles Jacob! Looks like so much fun for the whole family, Kimmy. Great helpers you have there.
