Easter 2010

Eli woke up to nurse at 4:00. Adam crawled into bed with us around 8am. We woke Jacob up at around 8:30. The boys had a great time finding Easter eggs that were hidden around the living room and kitchen. Then Daddy hid their Easter baskets. This year Jared had a hard time finding his basket and had to continue looking for it once we got home from church. Usually he finds it in the first spot he looks. We got to Mom's house around 12:30. My sisters and their families arrived soon after that. Hailey loves to hold Eli and said she could hold him all day long. It was a beautiful day outside. Mom made a yummy meal. The kids all sat at one table and adults at another. After eating the the kids got to search for three baskets each from Nana and Papa. It was fun watching them go through the things in their baskets. Then Jared and Bruce went outside to hid eggs all over the yard. The kids all had a great time running to see how many eggs they could get in their buckets. We ate pies (apple and chocolate) for dessert. The kids sat at the table to draw and decorated paper with stickers. This evening we watched Mary Poppins on tv. Dad and Jared went downstairs to play pingpong. The kids also had some fun playing down there. We got home around 9pm.

It sounds -- and looks -- like a great Easter! I love the Easter shirts Jacob and Adam are wearing.

So, where did Jared finally find his basket? It sounds as if the Easter bunny was especially clever this year.

I love the picture of you and the boys, Kimmy. That's one I want to put on my computer and print.
Cute of Jacob's fancy sun glasses. Matches his shirt pretty good. The boys looked so handsome in their Easter clothes. So much fun having family here and watching the kids have a great time. Happy Resurrection Day!!!!
