Jacob loves the new class he’s in now at church. He was excited to show us the kite he made and said he learned that “God came to seek and to safe.” Jared and I worked in the nursery during second service and the boys enjoyed being in with us. After lunch we painted a third coat of yellow in the baby’s bedroom. We just have white to paint now. Jacob helped us with rolling some of the paint but had more fun playing with Adam. They played with all the little people toys. I gave them a roll of painter tape and they had fun using that. Around 3:30 we headed over to my parents house to pick them up and then to get Kenzie. We went to the annual snowfest. It was around 30 degrees outside but the wind made it feel even colder. Still, it was lots of fun walking around and looking at the snow and ice sculptures. Then we went to Tim Horton’s for warm drinks and donuts. Before going home we stopped at meijer for some things. Jacob was a big help carrying things into the house. He also wanted to put everything away by himself and even refilled my wet wipe containers. This evening the boys had fun helping us rip off the paint tape. Jacob liked helping Daddy put together the crib. The boys were tucked in bed by 9pm and went to sleep quickly.

Opening their mail. Engineer vests made by Grandma!
Naptime for the engineers. Jacob set his alarm.
Jacob is polishing the train with his "hankey-chief"
I thought Adam was asleep until I went in to take their pictures. He said, "Mommy, can we get up?" Then he asked me to set the timer for when they could get up.
The boys woke up shortly before 8am. I finished my last exercise and then got the boys their breakfast of cheerios and toast (with cinnamon). Jacob loves to butter his own toast and both boys like putting on the cinnamon. After watching Sid they got out the car mat and matchbox cars to play with on it. Around 9:45 we headed to Jacob’s school for a parent/teacher conference. Jared met us there. The boys played while we talked with the teacher. She told us that she has seen major improvements with Jacob. They were having difficulties getting him to participate with group project but that is not an issue anymore. He’s doing great and they are impressed with his skills such as writing and scissors. She commented that he can cuts as well as they can. And she also said he’s the only boy in the class that chooses to visit the art center every day. She mentioned that he has a great imagination and loves to build things. Jacob came over while we were talking and said, “I love you Mommy." Then he looked at his teacher and said, “I love you too.” She said he tells them this often during the day. Now the only thing he doesn’t want to do is participate in songs like the hokey pokey and chicken dance. Before leaving we set up an appointment for a home visit on Feb 11th. Jacob is excited for his teachers to visit so he can show them his new bunk bed. Jared headed back to work. We went to Tim Horton's and Salvation army. I drank my coffee in the van before going inside. While we waited Jacob and I had fun playing “I spy a color.” We also stopped at meijer for some groceries. Got home around 1:30. The boys played for a little while before we read books. I tucked Adam in for a nap around 2:30. Jacob and I rested on the couch for awhile. Then we got out the legos to build with. I did my afternoon run. Adam woke up around 5:30. Jared got out of work late so we decided to meet at Fazoli’s for dinner. The boys were very excited and we had a nice time. Usually the boys sit across from each other but Jacob said, "I wanna sit by Adam." While we ate Jacob said, "I love you Adam" and Adam replied, "I love you." Daddy got the mail on the way home. The boys were excited to opening up a package from Grandma. They love their train vest and wore them as they played on their train until pj time. Before bed Jacob said, “I’m gonna sleep with this (his vest) cause I love it.” Adam also went to bed with his vest on.

This morning we left at 8:45 and headed over to the church where I watch the kids. The boys were very excited to go there. They sure were helpful and enjoyed entertaining the baby that was there. They were smiling as they talked to him and handing him toys or gave him drinks from his sippy cup. Jacob said to the other helper, "Mommy is having a baby. Its a boy." Then he added, “And I want her to have a girl too.” Before taking Jacob to school we stopped at Valvoline to get an oil change. Adam and I did some shopping at Goodwill and Salvation Army. We got home around 4:00 and I tucked Adam in for a nap. Vikki and Misty came over this evening. Misty brought her dog so I could do some things for her. We made pizza for dinner. The boys wanted Aunt Bippi to sit by them at the counter while they ate. We had a nice visit and also had fun playing the Wii. They left shortly after 8:00. The boys were asleep around 9:45.

Jacob is hanging up Berry's clothes.
Recently we got the Wii Fit Plus and I did exercises on that this morning. I unpacked the baby clothes. Jacob woke up around 8:00 and had fun picking out some things to pack in the baby’s bag for the hospital. Truman slept in Adam’s bed last night. Jacob kept going into the bedroom to see if Adam was awake yet. Adam slept in until 9am. Jacob loved making his bed this morning. He set up his blankets on the end of his bed to make a photography background. Then he took pictures of his stuffed animals. He’d point at the wall (computer) saying, “Do you like that picture?” Adam can climbs up to the top bunk but needs some help getting back down. Jacob got out all his bruder vehicles to play with and Adam got out the Little People toys and barn. We watched Sesame Street and Clifford. Jacob and Adam played on the top bunk until it was time to leave. Jacob had fun dressing Berry and hung up his extra clothes on the wall. I had an OB doctor appointment at 2:00 so, after taking Jacob to school, we headed into town. First we stopped at Mom’s house for a short visit. Adam wanted to watch Baby Einstein so Nana put that in for him. He brought a blanket to the couch and wanted me to cuddle by him. My doctor appointment went well. We got done just in time to get back to Jacob's school. After reading I tucked Adam in for a nap. He was very tired and fell asleep quickly. Jacob sat at the table to draw. I enjoy hearing him talk about his drawings. He also had fun cutting and stapling. Jared got home around 5:30. We woke Adam just before dinner was ready. After dinner I went outside to take care of the animals. I also organized clothes into totes that are stored in our tack room. I came inside and organized the boys closet. The boys were tucked in bed shortly before 9:00. Jared and I watched 24.
