Adam didn't want a picture taken of his fern hat - but he looked so cute in it.

Jacob and Adam were up around 8:30 and Eli was up by 9am. Lately for breakfast Adam asks for Cheerios and Rice Krispies mixed with milk. The boys played with legos until it was time to leave. We went to the library theater to watch Toy Story 2. The parking lot was nearly full. It was fun watching the movie on the big screen. Near the end of the movie Jacob asked, "Is it gonna be night night time when we leave." He was happy when I told him it was just about lunchtime. We ate a packed lunch at the picnic table outside. Jacob was a big help carrying my bags or pushing the stroller. He also wanted to buckle Eli in his car seat and then gave him a big kiss. We went to Salvation army and then to the park. The boys gave Eli pushes in the baby swing, which he really enjoyed. Jacob and Adam had fun playing on the big wooden boat. Jacob loves going down the fireman pole on the playground. He liked when I called 911 for him to come put out my fire. He'd hurry down the pole and come spray the fire. Adam also ran over to spray me with his hose. We got home around 3:45. Adam had fallen asleep in the car but woke up when I unbuckled him. I carried him to the door and told him he could go lay on the couch. I got Eli out of the van and then came inside to find Adam asleep on the floor by Jared's desk. Jacob played with legos. I did my afternoon run and worked on coupons. Jared got home around 5pm. Adam woke up and sat by Daddy but then went back to the couch and fell asleep. He slept until dinnertime. This evening we went for a hike at the Chippewa Nature Center. We took a loop trail that was 1.7 miles. Both boys did great on the hike. Adam rode a short time in the stroller. They liked decorating the carrier with flowers and feather. We saw a muskrat, heard lots of frogs, and found a tiny toad. The bugs got bad during our walk through the woods so Daddy suggested wearing ferns on our heads. It really did seem to keep the bugs away and soon the boys liked the idea too. We got home shortly after 9pm.
