Parade Day

After church we headed home to finish packing for our day outing. At 11:30 we left to go to the Bavarian parade which started at 1:00. On the way we ate a packed lunch. There we enjoyed visiting with family until the parade started. The kids were all so excited to see each other. The weather was very nice, low 70's and mostly cloudy. The kids did a lot of waving and some dancing during the parade. They were fun to watch and had a great time. Jacob was very excited to see Ronald McDonald (who visited his school) and walked up to him to give him a five. From there we went to my Aunt Debbie's house. Eli ate and then took a 3 hour nap. He has a bad cold and is very congested. The kids all had a great time swimming in the heated pool. Even Adam was swimming all over wearing floaties. The kids, especially Jack and Adam, loved going down the water slide. Jacob and Adam only got out of the pool to eat. We headed home around 7:30. Kenzie came home with us. Jacob, Adam and Kenzie all fell asleep on the drive home. The boys continued sleeping as we tucked them in bed. We made popcorn and watched some I Love Lucy.
