Thursday 8-5-10 (Day 13)

Jacob slept in until 9:45am. He missed pancakes but was happy to eat one of Grandpa's pop tarts. The boys love when Grandpa growls at them when they eat one of his poptarts. Eric, Kat and the boys came with us on a walk around the campground. Grandma also walked part of the way with us. While Eli took a nap (Grandma stayed with him) we took Jacob and Adam to walk through the Fort buildings. The boys were very interested in the displays set up in many of the buildings. They also enjoyed watching a video about the Fort. We visited the new Sutler's store which was neat. Then we went to the Fort store and got the boys orange push-ups. Daddy and Jacob walked to get garbage bags while Adam and I went to the playground. Eli was still sleeping when we got back. After lunch we took a drive along Lake Superior to see the waves as it was very windy today. We then drove to Calumet to get pasties but they said they were done making chicken pasties for the day and told us to come back tomorrow morning. Andrew noticed Eli was awake in the tent and asked if he could go in to see him. Andrew, Jacob, and Adam all went in the tent to lay on the mattress with Eli. Andrew helped me change Eli's diaper. We took a walk and the boys rode their bikes. Andrew rode his bike too and did great! This evening we went out for ice cream. We came back and sat by the fire and made smores. Jacob and Adam took turns holding Eli.
