Friday 8-6-10 (Day 14)

We were all (except Jacob) up around 7:30am. Adam asked if he could take his chair over to Grandma's site. Jacob slept in and missed pancakes again this morning. After breakfast Jared drove to Calumet to get pasties. I took a walk with the boys and we stopped to play at the playground. Jared was back around 10:45. We went to town to walk around some shops and also stopped at the community center. We stopped to visit with Leslie and look at the pottery one last time. Leslie let the boys pick out some little bowls that they were pretty excited about. Back at camp we ate a late lunch and then walked over to Pebble Beach. The boys wore water boots so they could play in the lake. Uncle Eric, Aunt Kat, and the boys came there also. After a while we headed back to camp. Daddy, Jacob, and Adam hiked the stream from Lake Superior to Lake Fanny Hooe. Adam fell in the water a couple times so Daddy said now it really is "Adam's falls". The boys stepped in water over their boots several times but they didn't seem to mind them filled with water. We got back to our site around 5:30. Our pasties dinners were very yummy. After dinner we did some packing for our trip home tomorrow. We went out ice cream. Back at came Jacob, Adam, and Andrew went for a bike ride. We sat by the fire and made smores. Jared and I did some more packing after tucking the boys in bed.
