Grandma working on a hat.
When I told Jared to behave like his Dad
This is what I got.
I got this one not because they didn't try to mess it up.
Grandma knitting in the boys house.
I was up around 5:45 to exercise. Grandma was reading to Jacob when I came out around 7:30. Jared and I went outside to take care of the animals. When Grandma asked Jacob if he was wearing socks like Daddy (with holes), he stood on the kitchen floor and said, “It feels cold (there was a hole in his sock).” After breakfast Jacob rode around on his snowplow (dump truck pushing the tipped shopping cart). Jared woke Adam up around 8:30. By 9:00 we were headed to town for drinks and donuts. The “ATM lady” wouldn’t talk to us today. We stopped at Tim Horton’s for my coffee and then went into Dunken Donut’s. We also went to Salvation Army and TSC. As we neared the auto dealership Adam asked, “Crashed cars, pleeeease?” At home we took the new feeder and waterers out to the barn to add to the stalls with the chicks. When we came inside Jacob asked to color with markers. The boys cut with scissors and did some coloring. Then they had fun with playdoh. I took Adam into his bedroom to change his diaper. He looked at me and said, “Know what? I wuv you.” Grandma finished another knitted hat. After lunch we all went outside. Jared put up the new hose holder that my Dad made for us. Then Jacob had fun spraying the hose. He washed his tractor and tried to get Mommy wet (because Daddy told him to). Adam played in the sand and also had fun playing in the puddle. Daddy showed the boys a toad he’d found. Jacob carried it around like a baby. Then he found a box to put it in and added grass and flowers. At 2pm I took a wet Adam (he'd fell in the puddle)inside for a nap. He ate a snack while I read to him. Then I did a 30 min run. Jacob was playing with playdoh when I came out, after finishing my run. We watched the preakness horse race on tv. Jacob pretended his truck was pulling a horse trailer (stool hooked on by a stethoscope). Around 5pm we went outside to take care of the animals. Adam woke up soon after we came back inside. He played with the doctor kit. Jacob made a nice bed with pillows on Daddy’s legs, which were propped up on a stool. Adam used a wet wipe to wash some things, like the dump truck and the little chairs. The boys made a house using the stools and chairs in the kitchen. Jacob asked Grandma to come in their house and told her to bring her knitting. This evening we went out to dinner at Fazoli’s. We got home around 8pm. After some playtime with the boys we got them in their pjs and started their nightly routines. They were tucked in bed shortly after 9pm.

Nice pictures of Grandma and Grandpa. Thank you for including them. How many hats will Grandma make during her visit? Is Jared still knitting hats? When will Jacob start knitting? (Probably still a LITTLE early for him -- but, if he watches Daddy do it, he will probably learn to do it, too. And then Adam will join in -- and you can sell give away free hats with the used cars you keep selling.)
But still no pictures of Grandma playing with the moon sand
