Jacob loading up the trucks.

Adam driving his truck.
Waiting for Mommy to join the train.
Sliding off the toy boy.
Fun in the sand.

Watching a yellow jacket.
His favorite chicken.

I got up to exercise at 6:00. The Wii system is broken and has to be returned for repair. Also the Wii board has to be repaired as it has a couple cracks in it. Good thing we got the extended warranty on those. Anyway, I enjoyed doing my exercises even without the system. I listened to my playlist music and watched a slideshow on the computer while exercising. I loved watching the slideshow of all our Copper Harbor trips. Adam woke up at 8:30. I brought him down to my bedroom and we cuddled in bed for a while. As I set him down he said, “Trumen, Kate too, up here?” He lay his head by Truman's and as he pet him he softly said, “Hi Trumen.” He then had fun riding around on his little big wheels. He likes to hand onto the handles as he stands on the back wheels. Then he stood on the seat and tried to get it to go by moving his body. Jacob woke up shortly after 9am. Our neighbors are having some yard work done. The boys enjoyed watching the dump truck back up their long driveway and dump its load. They ate breakfast while watching a Baby Einstein video. When the video was over the boys sat at the table and colored in their notebooks with markers. Then they had some fun with their tools. Jacob looked in Adam’s closet for something else to play with and said, “Wow, this closets organized nice.” After picking up the tools we got out the wooden blocks to play with. Jacob made several semi trucks to load up. Adam made a long train, which he then sat on and pretended to drive. When Max stayed here Jared had the boys to line up in a train before going outside. Jacob and Adam now line up in a train every time we go out. We played in the sand in one of our paddocks. The boys liked watching the workers in our neighbors yard using the bobcat. It rained some this morning so the sand was wet. Jacob made holes with his fingers and put sticks (fence posts) in the holes. The boys liked running down the hills. We had fun playing “tag your it.” After about an hour we went inside for lunch. After lunch the boys played with blocks for a little and then we went back outside. Jacob really wanted to fill his jug with water and take it up to the sand hill so we did that. We took some trips back to the goat paddock to fill the jug back up. Adam found a pop bottle to fill with water also. The boys loved running around in the sand with their bare feet. Jacob liked burying his arm and hand in the sand and feeling the cold sand. Then the boys played in the barn for a little while. Jacob caught his favorite chicken. We went inside at 2:30 for a snack. After reading books I took Adam into his bedroom to tuck him in for a nap. He pointed out his door saying, “Rock-sin chair?” I rocked him for a few minutes. Lately when we sit in the rocking chair he says, "Like this!" as he sit in the position he wants. After tucking him in bed I rocked Jacob for a little while. He rested in his bedroom while playing with his barn and tractors. Jared got home around 5pm. Jacob was excited to get some mail. He got a birthday card from ToysRUs and something from church. Adam soon was awake. Jacob asked to take his barn and tractors up to the big sand hill to play. We all went up there until dinnertime. After dinner Jacob was pretending to read by following some words on a piece of paper with his finger. He said something like, “In the beginning there was no light, nothing! God says let there be light and there it is. God says let there be dark and there it is." We spent the rest of the evening outside. Jacob really enjoyed being pushed high on his swing. Adam had fun on Jacob's peddle tractor. We also played in the fort and in the sand by the house. We came back inside around 8:30.

The sand pictures are beautiful. I was looking for a lake...then realized they are at your farm. I can't believe how good Jacob is with holding the chickens. He's a good helper on the farm.
