Jacob was pointing out things (like red truck, shiney car, cement truck...). He sure was laughing as he pointed out as many things as he could.

The boys love Kenzie.

Jacob woke up at 8:30 and Adam was up by 9:00. They watched the tractor video during breakfast. Then they had fun riding around on the tractor and cart together. We got ready and then headed over to the library for Move and Groove time (a musical program for kids 2-6). There were a lot of kids there, including Jacob’s friend Mugumi. We sat by her and her family. The boys acted shy and sat by me most of the time. They seemed to enjoy themselves even if they didn’t do any dancing. They did go up to get different dancing things, which were passed out to all the kids during some songs. Afterwards they had fun playing with trains on the train table. Then we read books. Jacob requested Mike Mulligan and Katy so we read those first. From there we went to the grain elevator for chicken food. The boys like seeing the fish in the store and always enjoy the van ride in the front seat over to where they load up the food. After watching the man load the food Jacob showed him his new slinky. We then went to a nice little park to eat lunch. We had a fun time there. Then we went to the bank so the boys could put their birthday money into their accounts. Jacob tried to sign his name but the electric pad wasn’t working well for him. The lady told him he could just draw a smiley face so he did that. They each got a sucker and a sticker. Before leaving they had fun playing on the train table. The boys showed several people their suckers and stickers on our walk back to the van. Jacob told them that he got 4 shots. We stopped at meijer for some groceries. It was almost 3pm when we got home. I read some books with the boys before tucking Adam in for a nap. Jacob rested while playing with his cars and then drawing with marker. He drew a picture of a barn and our van. Then he drew a map. As he showed me the roads he'd drawn on the map he said, “Here is the highway and this is the country way (pointing at a road off from that).” We went outside and Jacob played in the sandbox while I worked on hoeing the garden. Jared picked Kenzie up after work. They got home around 5pm. Jacob and Kenzie made a house in the hay. Then they gave me a tour of their house. We woke Adam up before dinner. He cuddled with Daddy in the rocking chair while I got dinner ready. Jacob got a new book and his High Five magazine in the mail. Kenzie read those to him. After dinner we headed down town to walk around. It was a nice, cool evening. The kids had fun walking on the flowerbed curbs as we walked on the sidewalk. Then we took a walk over the tridge. We went up the big grass hill to see the family statues at the top. Then Kenzie and Jared rolled down the hill, followed by Adam. Adam looked so cute and had so much fun rolling down the hill. Jacob didn’t want to roll but had fun running down. Adam rolled down many times and asked me to roll with him. We had a lot of good laughs. Kenzie and Uncle Jared then did summersaults down the hill. We got home around 9pm.

Well guess what. I can read all about you in Kenya. The weather is wonderful as usual. Cool mornings and Cool evenings and day time there is a breeze and the sun is warm but feels gentle. I worked at Sally Test playing with the sick children. They did some crafts and singing etc. It's a very well run room. Sarah Ellen and Joe get back tomorrow morning. It's the weekend. I'll work at Sally Test again. The children continue to come to have a good moment away from their illnesses. So many have cancer or really bad burns. 5 abandond babies are getting lots of love and care.

The boys were taught that (one leg shorter that the other) from the moment they started walking on curbs:)
