Checking out a bug.

Jacob is adding oil to the weed wacker.

The boys were up just after I finished my am exercises. We watched Clifford during breakfast. Then the boys did some drawing with marker. They also drew on the boxes from the backpack and shoes. While I vacuumed the boys played with their matchbox cars on mats in the kitchen. Jacob made a house that we had fun pretending in. Adam's bed was in the clothes basket. Jacob put a nightlight (matchbox car) in our rooms. After lunch the boys played with the playmats. Adam leaned some up by the couch and said it was his car. He said, “Mommy, you wanna come in my car? Then come on in.” Jacob put mats around the little table (tipped) for his car. We went outside to play in leaves. Jacob and Adam found some sticks and pretended they were weed wackers. Jacob said the water in his bottle was oil. He loved adding “oil” to their weed wackers. Adam kept asking Jacob for more oil. We had to go to the store and buy more oil (refill the water bottle.) We went back inside at 2:30 for a snack. As we sat down to read Adam said, “I wanna read, Wild Things Are.” I lay Adam down for a nap and Jacob rested while playing with the lite brite. I did a 30 min run and then sat at the little table with Jacob. We made a hot air balloon, flower, grass, and a cloud on the lite brite. Jacob ran around with the shoebox and said it was his motor. He used a lite brite peg to add oil to his motor. Daddy got home from work as we were heading outside. After a little while we came inside to make dinner. Adam was awake by that time. We made taco’s for dinner. Koolaide came with the taco kit so the boys helped me make that and enjoyed some. After dinner the boys had a fun time playing with Daddy until his class started. We watched a Baby Einstein video and then played with playdoh until pj time. Both boys asked me to make playdoh jeeps and people for them. They had fun adding things to their jeeps and pretending with them. The boys were tucked in bed around 9:30.

It looks warm in Michigan.

The rains have stopped here -- but the flooding continues -- on the other side of Atlanta from us. Your camp site is very dry.

Glad the boys know how to oil their weed wackers. Such imaginations. Cute pictures of them in the leaves.
