The RockinRRanch

I was up at 6am. It was another cold morning so Jared started a fire in the burner before leaving for work. Jacob was excited to see the fire when he woke up and wanted me to cuddle with him on the couch near it. We played with automoblox until Adam woke up at around 8:30. The boys watched Sid the Science Kid during breakfast. I packed for our day out and the boys got out their matchbox cars to play with. Around 10:30 we headed into town. We stopped at Salvation Army, the bank, and Tim Hortons before heading to Nana's house. In the van we listened to a Raffi cd. Adam dances by moving his legs and putting both hands on one side of his face as he moves his head. Many times he asks, "You wanna see this Mommy? You see my legs moving?" The boys ate a packed lunch on the drive to Nana’s. Right away Adam asked to watch his favorite Einstein video, so Nana put that in for him. At 1:30 we left for my OB doctor appointment. The boys were excited to come with me. Jacob was friendly with the nurse and Adam acted shy at first. I got a flu shot and then we got to listen for the baby’s heartbeat. Jacob really enjoyed hearing that. The baby's heartrate was 147bpm. From there we headed over to ToysRUs to walk around. Adam used the public potty and as we left the bathroom Jacob said to him, "Good job Adam. I'm gonna give you a sticker when we get home." The boys really enjoyed checking out all the toys there. We also stopped at Aldi’s and Meijer. Jacob saw Nana at meijer and ran to give her a hug. As he held her hand he said, “I’m glad you’re here Nana.” I stopped to drop off a couple bags at Mom's house and Papa gave the boys each a small candy bar. Adam fell asleep just before we got home at 5:30. After dinner the boys got out the wooden blocks to build with. Adam has a cold and was a little fussy. Jacob got a phone call from Grandma this evening. He also talked to Grandpa to show him how he says the Humpty Dumpty poem. The boys were tucked in bed around 9:30.
