I got up at 6:00 to exercise. Jacob and Adam were up around 8:30. After breakfast and watching Clifford we got out the legos to play with. Those were played with until lunchtime. I made each of the boys a lego semi truck, which they had fun using to haul around matchbox cars. It was a very rainy day today. After lunch Jacob made a tent with a couple rooms using blankets, the little table, and the couch. One was Adam’s room and the other was his. Then they found a blanket to cover me up with as we pretended to be going to sleep. Jacob also covered Adam with a blanket and said, “Adam, in the morning first were going fishing, then to the playground, then to the fair, then to get groceries, and then home, ok.” Jacob set his alarm which beeped when it was time to wake up. We also played some more with legos. Around 2pm the boys ate a snack and we read books. Then I tucked Adam in for a nap. I did my afternoon run while Jacob played with legos. Then he did some drawing with markers. Adam woke up just before Jared got home at around 5pm. We watched a couple Lucy (or as Adam says Woosy) episodes before dinner. Lately Jacob doesn’t want to got to the bathroom by himself. He prefers me to stand there with him even if its just at the door. It sure does get dark early now. After some playing with legos we put them away. Then we turned off all the lights to play hide and seek in the dark. Jacob wore his bones glow in the dark shirt. We sure have fun playing that. The boys were tucked in bed shortly after 9:00.
