Porter's Island.
Jacob watching Leslie work.
After breakfast at Grandma's we took a walk around the campground. Then we loaded up the canoe and headed over to a public dock near Hunter's point. We paddled the canoe over to Porter's Island. The island is much longer than we'd thought. We paddled around to the other side and then turned around. We got off and hiked to the shore on the other side of the island. The boys had fun playing with rocks and sticks while Jared and I looked for aggots. After a while Jared and Jacob went back to the canoe to get our lunches. We finished our lunch and then took a walk along the shore. The boys loaded Daddy up with pieces of drift wood to carry back to the canoe. On the paddle back the boys let most of their boats (drift wood) float away in the water. We got back to town around 2pm. Stopped to visit with Grandma, Grandpa, and Leslie at the shop. We were REALLY surprised when my parents drove up on their motorcycle. They are staying here until Thursday. We visited and they did some shopping at Dennis's. They got the campsite right behind ours. While they worked on setting up their little pop up trailer Jacob played at their site. Adam napped for a couple hours. Nana brought a surprise for the boys. They each got three little car, which they had fun playing with. The boys loved going inside the camper. Mom, Adam and I took a walk to the camp store and then drove to the Gas Lite store for a few groceries. Jared built a fire and we sat by it visiting until dinnertime. Grandma and Grandpa came over and we all spent the rest of the evening visiting by the fire. The boys entertained themselves playing around Nana and Papa's firepit. I took a walk with the boys, Jacob rode his bike. We made smores. We were in bed by 10:30.

Wow! What an adventure you have had! All of Jacob and Adam's grandparents around the campfire. I hope you had plenty of smores.
By the way, when you have breakfast at Grandma's, where is Grandpa?
Good grief...JB in a t shirt and flannel open and there the rest of us are in one, two or three sweatshirts. Tough guy JB or crazy. Which one is it. Grandpa is right there for pancakes although we would eat before the 4 of them arrived at the table. More room for everyone.
Those sure were yummy pancakes. Thank you Grandma R. (and grandpa too). We had such a fun time with you all. I wish I had a picture of the surprised look on all of your faces as we pulled up and you realized it was us on that motorcycle. Too funny! Love to all!!!
