Day 14

Jared and I were up at 8:00. After the boys woke up we headed over for Grandma's pancakes. After breakfast we took a walk to the camp playground. This morning we went to the Central mine with Grandpa. The boys had fun walking around on all the rocks. We also stopped at the Central mine visitor center. We went to Dennis's shop and bought some pottery. Grandma and Grandpa were there too. Jacob was happy to see Leslie. She let the boys each pick out a raku fired magnet. Jacob quickly picked out one with a motorcycle on it. Adam shyly picke out one with a butterfly. Dennis was doing some raku firing so we got to watch that. Around 2:30 we headed over to the Great Sand Bay. It was the warmest day yet and a nice day to spend on the beach. We got back to camp ~5:30. We ate dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's. After dinner Jared and I worked on packing some things for our trip home tomorrow. This evening we went out for ice cream cones. It was a very cool evening. Since its our last visit at the Berry Patch (til next year) Jared and I got double scooped ice cream cones. Adam spilled some of his ice cream on the back of the ice cream truck and then started licking it up. Back at camp we sat around the fire for a little while. Adam cuddled on my lap some but soon was asking to go to bed. After I got him tucked in Jacob asked to go to bed too. They were very tired boys. We were in bed by 10:30.
