Watching the rain with his favorite bear.
Fun day at the fair!!!
This is the only ride Jacob didn't really care for. You pull and push the bar to go up and down but the helicoptor leans and Jacob felt like he was going to fall out.
Jacob's favorite ride - the ferris wheel.
Kenzie and Jacob looking at me (in the high pink one).
Max is awake and ready to ride again.
I got up at 6am. Adam woke up at 7:30. He drew with markers while I finished my last exercise. Then I started packing for our day at the fair. Adam really wanted Jacob to wake up. He went in several times to check on him. One time he said, “I pet him.” Jacob slept in until 9:30. We watched Raffi during breakfast. It rained some this morning. The boys ate an early lunch and then we headed to meet Mom, Kenzie, and Josie at the Fair. We walked around in the merchant buildings first. It rained for about an hour. Mel and her family came and walk around in the buildings with us until the rain stopped. Nana bought the kids some button candy. We then got the kids armbands so they could ride the rides from 1-5pm (Thank you Nana!). Kenzie and Josie went off on their own to ride on the bigger kid rides. The kids rode in the flying elephants first. They all loved it and wanted to do that again. Adam said, “Mommy, I like that!” They sure giggled as they rode the wiggly caterpillar ride. They really had a great time riding on the rides. Adam pointed at a couple bigger kid rides saying, “I wanna go on that.” I don’t think we ever had to wait in line so we got a lot of riding in. We sat down for a snack. Max crawled in the stroller and fell asleep. Hailey and Jacob (Adam wasn’t tall enough) rode in the spinning dinosaurs, where you turn the wheel to make them spin. Jacob said theirs was broke and wouldn’t spin. We took Jack, Adam, Jacob, and Hailey on tthe caroussel. Jack loved it too. He also got to ride on the flying elephants. Jacob wanted to go on the Ferris wheel with Nana, Kenzie, and Josie. Hailey and Adam sure played cute together while we waited for them to finish their ride. I think they forgot about them because they rode it for a really long time. People who got on way after them were getting off before them. Josie was feeling sick for all their wild rides. Jacob loved the Ferris wheel ride and said it was his favorite. Max woke up around 4:30 and got to have fun on rides before the 5pm finish time. Mel and her family left after they went on their last ride. Jared got there soon after they left. We said goodbye to Mom, Kenzie, and Josie. Then we walked thru the sheep and cow barn. We also watched some of the sheep auction. This evening we went out to dinner at Fazoli’s. Got home shortly after 7pm. Jacob liked showing Daddy pictures on the computer of the fair rides. Adam called Truman up on the bed and then covered him with his blankets. He also gave him his stuffed animals for pillows. The boys were tucked in bed by 9pm. Jacob asked, “Is Berry going to be real someday?” Daddy told him he was still waiting for Yellow Bear to be real. Jacob asked Daddy to sleep with Yellow Bear tonight.

Oops...wrong information. Yellow Bear is very real. We just can't see him do real things. But he's very real. Trust me on that one.
Great pictures of our fun day at the fair. I especially love the ones of the kids holding hands. Cute how they held Jack's hands too. And I love that one of Jack laughing on the merry-go-round.
